If you want a GREAT deli sandwich this is the place to go! Located on Commercial just west of the intercoastal this small sandwich joint is in a strip center nestled between offices and a few other restaurants. Don't expect to be greeted by a hostess. Don't expect fancy tables or sitting as a waiter gets your drinks and takes your order. Just get in line at the counter and when it's your turn tell the man what you want. Corned beef on rye? Pastrami? Turkey off the bone? Ultra fresh rye bread? They have all the stuff you'd find at the best deli in New York.
Dale and I both chose the "New Yorker." A generous portion of melt-in-your-mouth corned beef topped with just as much pastrami and with a couple of slices of swiss cheese added on top. All between two slices of rye. Dale topped his with mustard and I went with the special dressing and I added a side of potato salad.
To say that the sandwich was good is an understatement. "GREAT," doesn't even come close either. I wish I knew the perfect word to describe it. Do you?
